Holiday Fair in Nathan Phillips Square

A new holiday market fair is coming to the heart of Toronto December 8th to the 23rd. Nathan Phillips square will combine a European-like Christmas market with an exciting winter carnival. There is something for everyone – shopping, entertainment, food, and drinks.

There are 27 confirmed vendors selling clothing, art, crafts, and other services. Many of the vendors are small artisans that sell unique items perfect for gift giving. There are 10 unique food vendors that offer seasonal favourites and fine gourmet options.

There is also a licensed ice bar that offers fair goers seasonal beer, wines, and liquors from Canada and around the world. Because sometimes you need a drink to get through the busy holiday season.

And of course, jolly ol’ Kris Kringle, St. Nick, Santa Claus, whatever you call him, will be there to ask if you’ve been naughty or nice and take a picture. Every child can meet Santa free of charge. What a nice guy!

Entertainers will also be a big feature at the fair. Professional and local street performers will put on shows that are always fun to watch.

And don’t forget your skates. Nathan Phillips Square’s famous skating rink is always a popular activity during the winter months. If you forget your skates, or don’t have any, you can always rent them there.
