It’s such a big mansion that it has its own name – Chelster Hall. And if you have $65 million dollars, it could be yours. It’s right in the heart of Oakville, off the iconic Lakeshore Road, and of course, on the lake.
Chelster Hall was built by the CEO of Interbrew back in 2006, and he intended the building to last for centuries. The 47,000 square feet home is on 10.3 acres. For some context, the White House is 54,000 square feet. Imagine how much stuff you would have to buy to fill all that space.
It has a 12-car garage, bowling alley, home theatre, 7,000 bottle wine cellar, a chapel, gatehouse, and lakeside pavilion. It sounds more like a resort than a private home actually.
There’s an indoor pool as well. But it’s not just any indoor pool. It has a poolside fireplace. Because why not? There are 8 bathrooms, which is probably a good amount considering the square footage.
Many luxury homes are actually sold privately so prices are not always listed. Chelster Hall is publically listed. Maybe there will even be a bidding war. Who knows? Anything could happen in this housing market.
